Job summary

Neev is seeking a Network Operations Engineer (MPLS / Core Routing) to maintain operational integrity and perform precise network changes during scheduled maintenance windows. You will monitor MPLS networks, troubleshoot BGP and QoS, and manage migrations across diverse hardware platforms.

The role requires 3–5 years in telecom environments, rotating shifts, and the ability to work under pressure during night-time cutovers. Applicants must be available for immediate join or within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in telecom or service provider environments.
• Proficiency in Cisco IOS-XR, MPLS, BGP, and QoS configurations.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts and handle high-pressure night-time cutovers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MPLS network health and perform Tier-2 troubleshooting for MPLS L2/L3 VPNs, BGP, and OSPF/ISIS protocols.
• Execute site commissioning, decommissioning, and seamless logical migrations of customer services across diverse hardware platforms.
• Maintenance Window (MW) Execution: Carry out configuration changes and hardware replacements during night-time and early-morning maintenance windows, strictly adhering to approved Method of Procedure (MOP) documents.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate change logs, update network topology diagrams, and deliver comprehensive shift-handover reports.

Role Summary
