Job summary

UNO MINDA in Pune hires a senior C++ middleware engineer for Android-based Infotainment systems. You will contribute to framework, AOSP/HAL, and multimedia components across Android platforms.

The role covers boot sequence understanding, HIDL interfaces, cross-compilation, and building with CMake, Gradle, and Soong, spanning audio, video, sensors, and diagnostics. You will collaborate across domains to deliver robust middleware and SOTA features in vehicles.

Qualifications

• Expertise in C++ with middleware focus.
• Experience in Android-based IVI/Cockpit solutions spanning Frameworks/AOSP/HAL.
• C++ Infotainment middleware development (Multimedia, Projection, Bluetooth, Tuner, System Infrastructure).
• Understanding of Android Boot Sequence and Framework module architecture.
• Experience with Android HIDL interfaces and HAL/VHAL implementation.
• Cross-compilation and toolchains for Android, QNX, Linux build systems.
• Knowledge of CMake, Gradle, Soong build systems.
• Expertise across domains like startup/shutdown, fast boot, audio, multimedia, HMI, sensors, Diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Develop C++ middleware components for Android Infotainment platforms.
• Design and develop Android-based IVI/Cockpit middleware spanning Multimedia, Projection, Bluetooth, Tuner, System infrastructure.
• Contribute to Android Frameworks/AOSP/HAL implementations and customizations.

• Expertise in C++ programming language with a strong focus on middleware development.
• Have experience in the design development of Android-based IVI/Cockpit solutions spanning into Frameworks/AOSP/HAL.
• Experience in designing and developing C++ based Infotainment middleware components (Multimedia, Projection, Bluetooth, Tuner, System Infrastructure, etc.) on android Platform
• Understanding of Android Boot Sequence and various Framework module architecture.
• Experience with Android HIDL interfaces and HAL/VHAL implementation and customizations
