Job summary

Kidzonia International Preschool is seeking a Middle School Coordinator to lead academic delivery for grades 6–8. You will supervise teachers, drive student performance management, and ensure curriculum execution aligned with school standards and NEP 2020 frameworks.

You will coordinate assessments, support teacher development, and engage parents through PTMs while maintaining smooth academic operations and timely reporting across the middle school wing.

Qualifications

• M.A./M.Sc. with B.Ed. mandatory; M.Ed. preferred.
• Experience in middle school academics and leadership is desirable.
• Knowledge of NEP 2020-aligned pedagogy is advantageous.

Job Summary

The Middle School Coordinator is responsible for leading academic delivery, teacher supervision, student performance management, and overall functioning of Grades 6–8. The role ensures curriculum execution, academic excellence, teacher development, and holistic student growth while maintaining alignment with school standards and educational frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

• Oversee curriculum planning and execution for middle school grades (6–8).
• Ensure alignment of lesson plans with curriculum framework and learning outcomes.
• Monitor academic rigor, teaching quality, and consistency across sections.
• Implement NEP 2020-aligned pedagogical practices and competency-based learning.
• Lead remedial and enrichment programs for students.

Teacher Management & Development

• Supervise and mentor middle school teaching staff.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide structured feedback.
• Organize teacher training, workshops, and professional development sessions.
• Monitor adherence to lesson plans, assessments, and academic timelines.
• Support teacher onboarding and performance appraisal processes.

Student Performance & Discipline

• Track student academic progress through assessments and data analysis.
• Identify learning gaps and implement intervention strategies.
• Maintain classroom discipline standards across middle school.
• Collaborate with counselors for student emotional and behavioral support.

Assessment & Examination Management

• Plan and coordinate internal assessments, exams, and project evaluations.
• Ensure quality, fairness, and standardization in assessment processes.
• Moderate question papers and evaluation frameworks.
• Analyze results and present academic performance reports.

Parent Engagement

• Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and academic review sessions.
• Address parent concerns related to academics and behavior.
• Maintain transparent communication regarding student progress.

Operations & Coordination

• Manage daily academic operations of middle school wing.
• Coordinate timetables, substitutions, and academic schedules.
• Organize school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and safety guidelines.
• Prepare weekly/monthly academic performance reports.
• Track KPIs related to academics, attendance, and teacher performance.
• Support school leadership in academic planning and improvement strategies.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and accreditation processes.

Student Development

• Encourage participation in co-curricular and extracurricular programs.
