Job summary

One Network Enterprises is seeking an IT support engineer to maintain and support enterprise-grade supply chain applications. The role combines troubleshooting, development of scripts, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in Pune, India.

You will work 70% in production support and 30% on development tasks, handling issues from clients and internal services, and maintaining knowledgebase documentation. On-call duties shift on a 24x7 rotation basis.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering; MS degree a plus.
• Experience supporting high performance, scalable OLTP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain technical issues clearly.
• Willingness to on-call support and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call 24x7 support on rotation.
• Support and develop: 70% support, 30% development.
• Resolve customer and product issues with engineering.
• Communicate status to manager and with client services.
• Document findings and create knowledge base articles.
• Develop code, scripts, extracts and artifacts to solve issues.
• Interact with Production Support to escalate and assist.
• Work independently or with engineers in Windows/Linux environments.

Job Summary

Maintain and support internet-based enterprise level supply chain applications.

Essential Functions

• Work either independently or with a group of highly skilled, high intellect engineers to resolve customer and product issues.
• Communicate with Network Operations to identify and solve software issues.
• Communicate current status of issues to the manager as necessary, based on severity and impact of the issue on the business.
• Interact with client services, professional services, and other groups for troubleshooting efforts.
• Be proactive and inquisitive with a clear focus on problem solving.
• Must have flexibility with work hours and be able to provide on-demand support as required.
• Must be ready to be On Call 24X7 on a rotational basis.
• Document findings, including new defects in products and work with the Production Support team to create knowledgebase articles.
• 70% Support and 30% Development.
• Develop code, scripts, extracts and other artifacts required to solve other complex technical issues.
