Job summary

MAHLE Holding (IN) in Pune seeks an MSSQL Database Administrator to manage daily MSSQL operations across on-prem and cloud environments. You will guide external IT providers to meet SLAs and architect hybrid DB infrastructure.

You will implement database security policies, develop automation scripts, and advise engineers on design, queries, and performance. Minimum 3 years of MSSQL experience required.

Qualifications

Your Contribution

• Working in a global Microsoft SQL DB Admin team.
• Steer external IT service provider to deliver the expected service with agreed SLAs.
• Architect, deploy and, manage hybrid environments (cloud-based + On-Prem) in terms of infrastructure management.
• Evaluate new database technologies and shape the future of our database landscape. Be accountable for the daily operations of our MSSQL database systems.
• Implement security policies / measures for MSSQL databases.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate our On Prem infrastructure using Powershell or T-SQL.
• Consult software engineers on database design, query optimizations and best practices.
• At least 3 years of experience in administration of MSSQL Databases .
• Comprehensive understanding of database structures, database management, and query performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of developing database queries, stored procedures, and functions .
• Good knowledge of managing external IT service providers as well as project management.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to push things through in a constructive manner.
• Skills & willingness to work in international teams & projects.
• English skills language on min. B2 level
