Job summary

Bajaj Auto Limited in Pune seeks an experienced Data & Analytics Lead to drive enterprise analytics across functions. You will partner with business and digital product teams to translate needs into scalable analytics solutions, shifting from traditional reporting to self-service and AI-enabled insights.

You will lead Power BI on Fabric-based dashboards, champion data governance, mentor analytics staff, and manage priorities across stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Data & Analytics, BI or Analytics Consulting, with prior experience in a Data/Analytics Lead or similar role.
• Strong experience translating business requirements into enterprise analytics solutions across multiple functions.
• Hands-on knowledge of Power BI, data modelling, KPI frameworks and SQL.
• Good understanding of modern data platforms, preferably Microsoft Fabric/Azure, and data governance principles.
• Experience with self-service BI, Generative AI or conversational analytics is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Automotive experience is preferred, particularly across sales, retail/dealer, service, customer, marketing, supply chain or manufacturing domains.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and digital product teams to understand business problems, KPIs and analytics requirements, and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
• Lead the design and delivery of Power BI on Fabric-based dashboards and analytical solutions, ensuring usability, scalability and business relevance.

• Rationalize and optimize the existing dashboard landscape by reducing duplication and standardizing metrics and reporting.
• Work closely with data engineering and platform teams to ensure analytics solutions leverage trusted, governed and secure enterprise data.
• Manage analytics demand and priorities across stakeholders and lead initiatives from problem definition through delivery and adoption.
• Mentor analytics team members and promote a strong focus on business outcomes rather than report creation.
