Job summary

Carrier Hyderabad seeks an experienced Mgr, Data Sci & Analytics to oversee enterprise BI applications and analytics strategy. The role focuses on governing data, building standards, and driving analytic solutions to support business decisions.

The candidate will lead research efforts, define data quality metrics, and evaluate new technologies to create business cases and improve performance across the analytics stack.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the design and support of enterprise‑wide business intelligence applications and architecture.
• Develops standards, policies and procedures for form, structure and attributes of BI tools and systems.
• Defines and executes useful analyses to solve problems and optimises BI tool performance.
• Creates testing methodologies and criteria. Supervises data/information quality metrics.
• Researches new technologies and develops business cases to support their use.

Job Description

• Supervises the design and support of enterprise‑wide business intelligence applications and architecture.
• Develops standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of business intelligence tools and systems.
• Defines and executes useful analyses to solve problems. Optimises the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user.
• Creates testing methodologies and criteria. Supervises the development of data/information quality metrics.
• Researches new technologies and develops business cases to support their use.

Minimum Requirements

• Requires advanced to expert knowledge obtained through advanced education, combined with experience
• Substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems to make enhancements within job area
• University Degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience
• OR
• An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
