Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential: B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering; 9–11 years experience.
• Experience with COP, emission, in‑service and in‑use performance ratio testing.
• Familiarity with Indian and European automotive regulations (ECE).
• Must hold a valid driving licence with 3+ years on‑road driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing as per COP requirements: emission, in‑service, in‑use performance ratio & whole vehicle safety.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies such as ICAT / ARAI (Natrax).
• Handle Part COP compliance for safety‑critical components.
• Coordinate with regulatory body for RDE & SHED testing.
• Test witness alongside the regulatory body.
• Ensure compliance with Part COP requirements.

Regulatory Conformity of Production (COP)

Background: Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering

Educational Requirement: B. Tech / B.E (Essential; Desirable is also acceptable)

Experience: 9 – 11 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing as per COP Requirements: Emission, In‑Service, In‑use Performance Ratio & Whole Vehicle Safety.
• Knowledge of vehicles and latest technologies such as EV and ADAS.
• Knowledge of vehicle type approval & COP activity.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies such as ICAT / ARAI (Natrax).
• Handle Part COP compliance for safety‑critical components.
• Hold a valid driving licence with at least 3+ years of on‑road driving experience.
• Hands‑on experience of WVSCOP and emission testing, including pass‑by‑noise, brake, etc.
• Hands‑on experience on RDE and SHED.
• Coordinate with the regulatory body for RDE & SHED testing.
• Coordinate with the regulatory body for regulatory emission & safety COP testing.
• Test witness alongside the regulatory body.
• Ensure compliance with Part COP requirements.
• Familiarity with automotive regulations and tests (Indian & ECE – European regulations).
