Job summary

PepsiCo Hyderabad is seeking a SAP IDOC Monitoring Specialist to collaborate with business, functional, and IT teams on IDOC types across Supply Chain, OTC, and SD, ensuring smooth data flows and minimal disruption.

You will handle critical IDOC failures, PID monitoring, and act as SPOC for stakeholders. The role includes documentation, SAP enhancements testing, and supporting UAT activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, IT, business management, or related field.
• Experience in SAP ECC / SAP S4 HANA environments, especially Supply Chain.
• Hands-on IDOC monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly PID monitoring and posting.
• Act as Secondary Point of Contact (SPOC) for business stakeholders.
• Address ad hoc priority requests from business teams with quick turnaround.

• Identify root causes of recurring IDOC failures and implement preventive solutions.
• Support SAP HANA related processes and data flow across systems.
• Review, maintain, and update Desktop Procedures (DTPs).

• Support during high-volume periods like month-end/quarter-end.

Overview

This position is responsible for working closely with Business, Functional, and IT teams on various IDOC message types related to Supply Chain operations. The role involves monitoring, resolving, and managing IDOC issues related to Master Data, Order to Cash (OTC) flow, and Sales & Distribution processes to ensure smooth system operations and minimal business disruption.

In addition to core operational responsibilities, this role includes handling critical IDOC failures, managing weekly PID monitoring activities, addressing ad-hoc business requests, and supporting business stakeholders as a secondary point of contact. The role also focuses on maintaining process documentation, supporting process improvements, and ensuring compliance with established operational procedures.

The individual is accountable for ensuring timely IDOC resolution within SLA timelines, supporting business continuity, and driving operational efficiency through process governance, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Work closely with field business users and IT support teams to understand operational requirements and support system improvements.
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams to identify root causes of recurring IDOC failures and implement preventive solutions.
• Support SAP HANA related processes and system functionalities, ensuring proper data flow across systems.
• Review, maintain, and update Desktop Procedures (DTPs) to ensure documentation accuracy and process standardization.
• Assist in testing new SAP enhancements and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Support cross-functional teams during high volume operational periods such as month-end or quarter-end activities.
• Collaborate with IT and functional teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and system issues impacting supply chain processes.
• To identify process improvements and contribute alongside leads in implementing the same
• Provide knowledge sharing and guidance to team members on IDOC monitoring, error handling, and process best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field
• Strong experience in SAP ECC / SAP S4 HANA environments, particularly in Supply Chain processes
