Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a MFG & PROCESS DVL ENGINEER II in Bengaluru to lead process sheet preparation, fixture/tool design, and project implementation. You will troubleshoot quality issues and drive improvements through Kaizen activities, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 5-6 years of hands-on experience with data analysis, SolidWorks, and SAP. Onsite in India with potential travel and a strong focus on productivity and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
5-6 years of experience.
Ability to analyze data and use critical thinking to reach logical conclusions.
SolidWorks and SAP proficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare manufacturing documents, work instructions, process sheets, FMEA and control plans.
Design assembly fixtures and tools using SolidWorks; modify fixtures/tools as needed.
Conduct detailed process analysis and determine equipment requirements and layout.
Drive Kaizen and process improvements to enhance productivity.

Manufacturing engineer is responsible for preparing the process sheets, tool design, project implementation, troubleshooting the quality issues.

Job Requirements

Preparing Manufacturing Documents-Work instructions and process sheet preparation and updation /FMEA/Control plan preparation
Tool design-Design of assy fixtures and tools/Modification of assy fixtures and tools in SolidWorks
Project Implementation-Detailed process analysis/Equipment requirement/Layout preparation etc
Process improvement-Kaizan/bring new ideas to improve the process and productivity.

What your background should look like

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering discipline
