Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MES Technical Architect to lead the design, development, integration, and deployment of enterprise-scale Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions. The candidate should possess strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, Oracle databases, API-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and manufacturing system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end MES application architecture, technical standards, and development guidelines for manufacturing solutions.
- Design scalable and secure solutions using.NET, Oracle, REST APIs, GraphQL, Entity Framework, and IBM MQ.
- Lead technical design and implementation of MES capabilities including Production Execution, Quality Management, Traceability, Genealogy, Order Management, and Shopfloor Integration.
- Architect integrations between MES, SAP/ERP, WMS, QMS, PLCs, SCADA systems, historians, and third-party applications.
- Develop integration patterns utilizing REST services, asynchronous messaging, event-driven architectures, IBM MQ, and GraphQL APIs.
- Establish database design standards, performance tuning practices, data integrity controls, and deployment frameworks using Oracle and Entity Framework.
- Provide technical leadership for code reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate manufacturing requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead SIT, UAT, deployment, release management, and hypercare activities.
- Mentor development teams and enforce architecture governance, coding standards, and DevOps best practices.
