Job summary

VDart Digital seeks a MES Developer with GE Plant Applications expertise to design, develop, enhance, and support MES solutions that help shop-floor operations. The candidate will work with SQL and .NET, Web Services, and UI technologies to build reliable MES/Quality enhancements.

The role requires collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams, and offers a remote-hybrid setup with Bengaluru as a focus area.

Qualifications

• MES developer with GE Plant Applications expertise.
• Experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Develop .NET components (C#, ASP.NET, Web API, Windows Services).
• Web Services REST and/or SOAP.
• UI design using HTML/Thingworx/ReactJS.
• Reporting with SSRS and Power BI.
• ERP integration with MES (SAP preferred).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop-floor systems.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Database design and optimized stored procedures.
• Azure DevOps for version control.
• Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support MES using GE Plant Applications.
• Design and implement SQL Server solutions, including stored procedures.
• Develop .NET components (C#, ASP.NET, Web API, Windows Services).
• Consume and implement Web Services (REST/SOAP).
• Create UI using HTML/Thingworx/ReactJS.
• Develop reports with SSRS and Power BI.
• Integrate MES with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
• Understand manufacturing processes and shop-floor systems.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex system issues.
• Work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Design/optimize relational databases and stored procedures.
• Use version control (Azure DevOps).
• Follow Agile/Scrum development practices.

Job Description:

MES Developer with strong expertise in GE Plant Applications to design, develop, enhance, and support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL, .NET technologies, and Web Services, and will work closely with manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable design to enhance current MES/Quality solutions that support shop-floor operations.

• Strong hands-on experience with GE Plant Applications.
• Proficiency in writing Stored procedure, Functions and other SQL Server related codes. (T-SQL, performance tuning, database design)
• Experience with .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web API, Windows Services)
• Solid understanding of Web Services (REST and/or SOAP)
• Experience with UI design - HTML/Thingworx/ReactJS
• Strong hands-on experience with reporting capabilities - SSRS/PBI and others.
• Experience integrating MES with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop-floor systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Experience designing and optimizing relational databases and stored procedures for optimal performance and/or maintainability.
