Vlink is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (contract) to architect and build scalable web applications using ReactJS and NodeJS. You will design APIs with ExpressJS and work with MongoDB for data modeling, ensuring secure authentication and authorization.

You will collaborate across product, design, QA, and engineering, leveraging AI-assisted tools to boost productivity and code quality, while mentoring juniors and upholding engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with ReactJS and NodeJS for full stack development.
• Solid MongoDB data modeling and query optimization skills.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with authentication/authorization.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows and Agile practices.
• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools and responsible usage.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer on a contractual basis with strong experience in JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS/ExpressJS, and MongoDB. The candidate should be able to independently design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.

They should also be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ReactJS and NodeJS.
• Build robust APIs and backend services using ExpressJS.
• Work with MongoDB for schema design, queries, optimization, and data modelling.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver features within agreed timelines.
• Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and test generation.
• Stay aware of tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, code review assistants, and automation/test harnesses.
• Review code, guide junior developers where needed, and follow engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ReactJS.
• Strong backend development experience - NodeJS and ExpressJS and Mongo.
