Job summary

Vlink is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer on a contractual basis to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services using JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS/ExpressJS, and MongoDB.

The candidate should be adept at using AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on schedule.

Qualifications

• Senior-level full stack development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS/ExpressJS, and MongoDB.
• Experience designing scalable web applications and backend services.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication, and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ReactJS and NodeJS.
• Build robust APIs and backend services using ExpressJS.
• Work with MongoDB for schema design, queries, optimization, and data modelling.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver features within agreed timelines.
• Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and test generation.
• Stay aware of tools such as Cursor, ChatGPT, code review assistants, and automation/test harnesses.
• Review code, guide junior developers where needed, and follow engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
