Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking talented developers to build front-end interfaces for polyglot backends powered by AI/ML models. You will work with AWS Cloud APIs, DevOps deployment including EKS, and contribute to microfrontend/microservices architectures.

The role involves MERN stack development for enterprise applications, with hands-on work across MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB and related databases, plus REST/JSON API design and high-scale considerations.

Qualifications

• Expertise in building front-end web interfaces for polyglot backends using AI/ML models.
• Experience with AWS Cloud APIs and DevOps deployment including EKS.
• Proficiency with microfrontends and microservices architectures.
• Experience designing web apps with micro frontend architecture.
• Familiar with MERN stack for enterprise applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB and other databases.
• REST/JSON API design for high scale/availability/resiliency.
• Develop responsive and progressive web apps and integrate APIs using Python / NodeJS.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Job description

• Expertise of building front-end web interfaces for polyglot backends built on pre-trained or fine-tuned AI/ML models (e.g., OpenAI etc.)
• Experience of working with AWS Cloud APIs and DevOps deployment and EKS, deploying applications
• Proficiency with microformats, micro frontend
• Experience in designing web applications using micro frontend architecture, create design documents and data flow
• Experience in Microservices and monorepo
• Development experience of frontends / UI/UX layers for MERN stack for enterprise application.
• Hands-on technical implementation level knowledge and experience in MySQL, Postgres, Marklogic, MongoDB, and other databases
• Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
• Expertise in creating automated unit test cases and using Github copilot/ OpenAI to reduce development time
• Expert in debugging and problem solving.
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as Stylus, Less, etc.
• Expertise in REST/JSON API’s Design code for high scale/availability/resiliency
• Develop responsive and progressive web apps and integrate APIs using Python / NodeJS
• Develop System Integration and platform integration
• Strong business and technology decision making skills are required
• Define and ensure team's deliveries adhere to non-functional requirements and schedule. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design
• Experience working with integration/API patterns. Designing microservices architecture
• DevOps and DevSecOps experience
• Experience with Agile Methodology, Design thinking, working with ambiguity, find own path
• Always ready to learn, work on self-development and team's capability development
• Good to have : Python
• Good to have : Rapid front-end / UI/UX prototyping / wireframing using several open-source and proprietary tools e.g. Figma, Axure, Adobe XD etc.
• Domain knowledge of Life sciences: Pharma R&D is desirable
