Job summary

Paytm Payments Services is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage merchant documentation, onboarding and banking coordination to enable PG code generation and merchant activation. You will collaborate with Business teams and external banks to ensure accurate data and timely completions.

Ideal candidates have experience in merchant onboarding, KYC documentation, and payment operations, with strong Excel/MIS skills and excellent stakeholder management. Graduation is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchant onboarding, KYC/documentation, banking coordination, or payment operations.
• Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MIS.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end merchant documentation and onboarding processes.
• Coordinate with Business/Sales teams to collect and validate required documents.
• Liaise with banks to procure required codes/details for PG code generation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely merchant activation.
• Track pending documentation, bank codes, and onboarding cases to ensure closure within TAT.
• Maintain trackers/MIS and ensure process accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve operational queries and follow up on pending requirements.

About the Team

The Merchant Operations team manages critical backend processes related to merchant onboarding, documentation, banking coordination, and payment gateway activation. The team works closely with Business, Banking, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely merchant onboarding.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage merchant documentation, coordinate with Business teams, and work with banking partners to facilitate PG code generation and merchant activation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end merchant documentation and onboarding processes.

Coordinate with Business/Sales teams to collect and validate required documents.

Liaise with banks to procure required codes/details for PG code generation.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely merchant activation.

Track pending documentation, bank codes, and onboarding cases to ensure closure within TAT.

Maintain trackers/MIS and ensure process accuracy and compliance.

Resolve operational queries and follow up on pending requirements.

Skills & Experience

Experience in merchant onboarding, KYC/documentation, banking coordination, or payment operations Banking Operations, Backend Operations, Merchant Operations, Payment Gateway Operations, or Fintech preferred.

Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and MIS.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Education

Graduation mandatory.
