Job summary

RINA Consulting (formerly D'Appolonia) is seeking an MEP Transport & Infrastructure Engineer to join its Civil Engineering Division in Delhi. The role focuses on supporting engineers in designing reliable mechanical and electrical systems for railway/metro/road projects.

You will participate in design reviews, install/upgrade system components, and ensure safety and quality standards through periodic testing and site oversight. A B.E./B.Tech in Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support plans and calculations for project elements.
• Visit sites and provide day-to-day project support and oversight.
• Support engineers and engineering teams.
• Develop project schedules and deliverables timelines.
• Prepare technical reports, performance documents, and engineering drawings.
• Perform design reviews and identify mechanical/electrical faults.
• Oversee installation design and commissioning of new systems; ensure proper sizing and configuration.
• Conduct periodic tests and inspections to meet safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with civil and system design teams for effective integration.

RINA is currently recruiting for a MEP Transport & Infrastructure Engineer to join its office in Delhi within the Civil EngineeringDivision.

Mission

This role focuses on providing support to engineers in designing solutions, products ensuring the correct functioning and reliability of Mechanical and Electrical systems in the railway/metro/road design and construction projects.

Key Accountabilities

• Support plans and make calculations for a variety of elements within an engineering project;


• Provide direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, visit sites;


• Provide direct or indirect support to engineers or engineering teams;


• Develop project schedules and deliverable timelines;


• Prepare the project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentations and engineering drawings, etc.);


• Perform design review;


• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults and malfunctions.


• Oversee and participate in the design for installation of new systems and the upgrade of existing ones, ensuring proper sizing, configuration and commissioning.


• Conduct periodic tests and inspections to ensure systems meet safety and quality standards.


• Work closely with other departments, such as civil (structural) and system design and Work Supervision, to ensure effective system integration and functionality.
