Job summary

Bureau Veritas India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a QA/QC professional to perform third party inspections and supervision of electrical projects.

The role involves reviewing QAPs, preparing inspection reports, and ensuring adherence to standards on site. The candidate should have BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical with relevant experience, strong communication, and teamwork to coordinate with clients and site teams.

Qualifications

  • Graduate Engineer BE/ B.Tech (Electrical) with min. 3 to 5 years or Diploma with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC will be preferred.
  • Good communication skills verbal, writing and presentation.
  • Ability to comprehend technical issues quickly.
  • Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Third Party Inspection or QA/QC of Electrical Projects on a continuous basis
  • Supervise electrical construction and installation activities at site.
  • Inspection, supervision of construction activities as per client requirement
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance for electrical activities.
  • Preparing progress report, field inspection report, NCs, etc based on client’s requirement.
  • Follow up the above reports and close the gaps mentioned in the reports
  • Review of QAP & Quality Manual
  • Conducting on-site training for juniors

Job description

Purpose of Position



  • The job incumbent is responsible for performing QAQC inspections, audits, supervision as per QAP, approved procedure, standards, etc., Carries out some tasks independently, with minimum supervision, and these may be on well identified or isolated assets.


Major Responsibilities


  • Third Party Inspection or QA/QC of Electrical Projects on a continuous basis

  • Conducting on-site training for juniors,

  • Preparing progress report, field inspection report, NCs, etc based on client’s requirement.

  • Follow up the above reports and close the gaps mentioned in the reports

  • Adherence to Codes and Standards (Knowledge of Codes and Standards),

  • Inspection, supervision of construction activities as per client requirement

  • Review of QAP & Quality Manual

  • Supervise electrical construction and installation activities at site.

  • Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance for electrical activities.


Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

HSSE -


  • Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health, security, safetyand environment and workmen employment.

  • Responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the HSSE Management System (in line with ISO14001:2015 & ISO 45001 standards) within his/ her Region/Location/Team.

  • Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety of their own, colleagues and others working surroundings.

  • Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Health, Security, Safety and Environment


Quality-


  • To comply company Quality requirements e.g. policies, procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on Quality as applicable.

  • Support to Customer Satisfaction and Operational Excellence.

  • Setup smart (Specific Measurable, Achievable, Relevant & Time Bound) Quality Objectives for himself and for Team in Success factor as applicable in area of Operation.

  • Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior and TIQ on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Quality.


Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)


  • On-time delivery of Reports

  • Client relationship – Retention and Growth.

  • Compliance of internal and external guidelines, policies, procedures.

  • Internal and external customer service satisfaction (e.g. number of complaints)

  • To adhere Group HSE Guidelines.


Qualification and Experience

General:
