Job summary

Salarpuria Properties in Kolkata is seeking an MEP Project Manager to coordinate and deliver complex MEP systems across design and construction stages.

You will lead on-site teams, interface with architects and engineers, and ensure timely project completion while upholding safety standards and quality across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related systems.

Qualifications

• Experience managing MEP projects from design to delivery.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates for electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with on-site health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple MEP projects.
• Ensuring there are minimal problems from the design to the delivery stage.
• Using project management software, AutoCAD and word processing programs to create MEP plans.
• Preparing cost estimates for electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems.
• Overseeing the work of the project management team and ensuring adherence to the project schedule.
• Coordinating on-site work with architects, structural engineers and electrical engineers.
• Providing MEP system installation, maintenance and technical advice to service providers, supervisors and inspectors.
• Inspecting, analysing and finding solutions for engineering issues related to the MEP features.
• Reviewing and evaluating the work of contractors, consultants and other construction industry professionals.
• Reviewing contractor drawings and installation method statements to ensure they comply with the MEP design plan.
• Making technical clarifications to resolve coordination issues and design modifications to suit specific on-site construction requirements.
• Monitoring and maintaining on-site health and safety policies and explaining the necessity of complying with these to the crew.
• Undertaking off-site inspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and project suitability.
