Job summary

Neilsoft Engineering Pvt.Ltd is seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer with BE Civil/Electrical/Mechanical background to lead MEP design and BIM coordination on international projects. You will review architectural/structural drawings, perform MEP calculations, and guide HVAC sizing and equipment selection.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, with strong project leadership and a focus on timely, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• BE Civil/Electrical/Mechanical required.
• International project experience a plus.
• Ability to read architectural & structural drawings.
• Knowledge of MEP calculations and equipment sizing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience in BIM detailing and coordination.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Willingness to attend face-to-face interviews.

Responsibilities

• Build MEP engineering experience from a design consultancy or design–build environment.
• Read and understand architectural & structural drawings.
• Perform MEP calculations for equipment sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop, and earthing.
• Carry out cooling/heating load calculations with tools like IES VE, Hevacomp, Trane/Trace 3D+, Carrier HAP.
• Review lighting calculations and MEP layouts.
• Coordinate MEP layouts with Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection.
• Lead multiple projects with timely delivery and quality; allocate tasks; manage team.
• Prepare effort estimation and deliverables; raise RFIs for data gaps.
• Coordinate MH estimation for design and BIM detailing.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Building services engineering experience from a design consultancy environment or a contractor with design & built environment. Any experience working on international projects will be an added advantage.

2. Knowledge of reading and understanding Architectural & Structural design & Drawings

3. Good knowledge of Engineering MEP calculations

• Like Equipment & Switchgear sizing, Cable sizing, voltage drop, earthing calculation etc.
• Cooling & heating Load Calculations using calculations software tools like IES VE, Hevacomp, Trane/Trace 3D+, Carrier HAP etc. to provide HVAC System sizing information for different building applications.
• Overall knowledge for reviewing of Lighting calculation.

4. Good Knowledge on reviewing various MEP system layouts

• Earthing / Grounding and Lightning Protection layout
• ELV system layouts like FAPA, CCTV, Access Control, Data & telephone etc.
• HVAC system Layouts
• PHE & FF layouts
• Knowledge required on 2D & 3D drafting tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Naviswork Engineers with experience on Autodesk Revit MEP and Autodesk Naviswork

• 9. Coordination of services with all other trade services such as Architecture, Structure, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection etc.
