Job summary

Platform9 Systems in India (Remote) is seeking a Frontend Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. You will build scalable, responsive web apps using React and TypeScript, with a strong focus on data-heavy interfaces and API integration.

You will write clean code, implement robust UI components, and work in a hybrid remote setup with potential for advanced tooling and testing practices. This role offers growth in a product-focused SaaS environment.

Qualifications

3–5 years building production web applications with React and TypeScript.
Experience with Redux and API-driven UIs.
Experience styling components with Material UI or CSS-in-JS.
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience building tables and data-heavy interfaces at scale.
Experience with testing using Jest and RTL.

Responsibilities

Build and ship features in React and TypeScript, from design handoff to production.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer with 3-5 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development, with experience in building scalable and responsive applications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Build and ship features in React and TypeScript, from design handoff to production.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code while following best practices and coding standards.
Turn complex infrastructure concepts (VMs, networks, volumes, clusters) into interfaces admins can use without reading docs.
Build and maintain data-dense views: large resource lists with filtering, pagination, live updates and bulk actions.
Integrate with many backend services through REST APIs.
Write unit and end-to-end tests, and take part in code reviews.
Work in a spec-driven development process with AI-assisted tooling.

Requirements:

3–5 years building production web applications with React and TypeScript.
Experience with Redux and API-driven UIs.
Experience styling components with Material UI or another CSS-in-JS approach.
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience building tables and other data-heavy interfaces at scale.
Experience with testing, using Jest and React Testing Library for unit tests.
Good design skills with an eye for aesthetics and usability.

Nice to Have:

Background in OpenStack, Kubernetes, virtualization or networking
Experience with PlayWright or any UI automation tool.
Python, since part of our end-to-end test suite is written in pytest
Experience on enterprise or SaaS products
