Everpure in Bengaluru is seeking a validation engineer to ensure the performance and reliability of SSDs for hyperscale and enterprise environments. You will work with firmware and hardware teams to transform complex technical requirements into robust validation frameworks.

You will design automated validation suites for PCIe/NVMe, perform root-cause analysis, and scale regression infrastructure to accelerate NAND qualification, using Python to build tools and scripts.

Qualifications

• Experience validating storage hardware with PCIe/NVMe interfaces.
• Proficiency in Python and automated testing frameworks for embedded/storage products.
• Hands-on hardware/software debugging in a lab environment.
• Familiarity with LeCroy, DriveMaster or OakGate tools.

THE ROLE

As a key contributor within the Drive Qualification Center of Excellence, you will ensure the performance and reliability of Everpure-developed SSDs for hyperscale and enterprise environments. You will partner with firmware and hardware teams to validate mission-critical storage components, transforming complex technical requirements into robust validation frameworks. Your mission is to guarantee that our storage solutions exceed global customer expectations through rigorous system-level testing and data-driven analysis.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Design and deliver automated validation suites that stress-test PCIe, NVMe, and OCP compliance, ensuring firmware maturity and hardware robustness for the Everpure Platform.

Drive technical root-cause analysis for complex failures across firmware and system layers, utilizing telemetry and logs to resolve performance or data integrity bottlenecks.

Own and scale the regression infrastructure, improving test repeatability and coverage to accelerate the qualification cycle for next-generation NAND technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to provide clear risk assessments and quality metrics, directly influencing product readiness and release timelines.

Develop custom validation tools and scripts in Python to automate the characterization of drive-level behavior under power-loss, snapshot, and high-volume scenarios.

WHAT YOU BRING

Deep Technical Expertise: Proficiency in PCIe and NVMe protocols, with a strong understanding of SSD architecture and how firmware interacts with storage hardware.

Software & Automation Skills: Advanced programming capability in Python and experience building or extending automated testing frameworks for embedded systems or storage products.

Analytical Problem-Solving: A proven track record of debugging hardware/software interfaces and performing structured root-cause analysis in a lab environment.

Validation Excellence: Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools (such as LeCroy, DriveMaster, or OakGate) to validate data integrity, power-loss robustness, and endurance.

Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
