Job summary

EdgeVerve Systems is seeking a finance professional to drive planning, analysis, and reporting for the Bengaluru unit. You will partner with leadership to review deals, ensure compliance across tax and internal controls, and monitor key metrics.

The role emphasizes revenue recognition knowledge and the establishment of robust financial policies to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis concepts.
• Experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Understanding of revenue recognition and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Financial planning & analysis - Working on the Yearly and Quarterly Business plan for the unit along with business and ensuring all the key parameters. Presenting a monthly deviation report against budgets/plan.
• Monthly/Quarterly Financial reporting - Sharing performance review reports for unit with leadership.
• Deal Review - Understanding various deal related details with business and making recommendation to leadership on finance viewpoint.
• Compliance - Ensure all the compliance including tax, (direct & indirect tax), Legal and internal system compliances are adhered to Others
• Partnering with the business on various aspects on finance and helping them navigate challenges
• Monitoring Key Business Metrics
• Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles, especially on Revenue Recognition
• Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place
