Qualifications

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Professional who will extensively work in the Financial Reporting, Audit, MIS, Banking, Insurance and Assets vertical at Meesho. This role provides an unique opportunity to be an integral part of the core IPO team as Meesho is about to embark its journey as a listed company.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, impeccable stakeholder management and the vision to publish progressive financial statements that sets the benchmark for peer companies to follow.

What will you do

Member of the core IPO Team at Meesho. Be the central POC for all DRHP, RHP, Prospectus etc requirements (eg: Restated Financial Statements, financials for stub period etc)

Actively engage with auditors for Statutory Audits, Quarterly LR for overseas and Indian group entities

Collaborate with peer teams (eg: FP&A, IR) for MD&A, annual report preparation, resolving investor queries etc.

Develop & maintain timely & accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with GAAP

Conduct thorough analysis of financial performance and variances to ensure that financial statements are correct and audit-ready

Be the technical expert on complex accounting issues involving group restructuring, ESOP etc

Reporting to: Part of Controllership vertical, Direct reporting to Head of Reporting

What will you need:

Chartered Accountant – 2022 pass-out

– 2-3 years of post qualification experience in Reporting team of new-age tech companies(preferably startups) or any Big 4s
