What you will do as Medical Representative

• Cover listed doctors at the right frequency – typically 10–12 calls per day – following the approved tour plan. Detail the company’s product portfolio scientifically – indications, dosage, benefits and safety – using visual aids and approved literature only. Build prescription support for focus products and monitor Rx generation through regular follow-up calls. Ensure prescribed brands are stocked at chemists around clinics and hospitals; run regular chemist audits. Support CMEs, camps, doctor meets and brand activities organised by the company in the territory. Plan two-wheeler routes to cover headquarters and nearby towns efficiently every week. Own the territory’s sales target and work with the Area Manager to plan monthly achievement. Develop hospital and nursing-home business: meet consultants, pharmacy and purchase teams and support formulary/listing. Work strictly as per the company’s code of conduct and UCPMP 2024 – no gifts or inducements to healthcare professionals. Gather feedback from doctors and chemists on competition and market trends. Coordinate with the stockist / C&F for orders, stock liquidation, near-expiry returns and timely collection of payments. Account for every sample and input distributed; follow sample-handling and ethical promotion guidelines. Submit daily call reports (DCR), expenses and doctor data on the company CRM / SFA app on the same day.
