Job summary

Nextenti Tech in Jagdalpur is seeking a Medical Gastroenterologist to diagnose and manage diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system. The role requires strong expertise in gastroenterology procedures and comprehensive patient management.

The candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and manage GI and hepatobiliary disorders; perform upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy; and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MBBS + MD/DNB in General Medicine + DM/DNB in Gastroenterology/Medical Gastroenterology from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration.
• Relevant experience in Medical Gastroenterology preferred.
• Strong clinical and endoscopic skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Manage conditions such as GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, pancreatitis, and other GI disorders.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy as per expertise.
• Perform therapeutic endoscopic procedures as per qualification and hospital facilities.
• Coordinate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, intensivists, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Medical Gastroenterologist to diagnose and manage diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system. The candidate should have strong expertise in gastroenterology procedures and comprehensive patient management.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Manage conditions such as GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, pancreatitis, and other GI disorders.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy as per expertise.
• Perform therapeutic endoscopic procedures as per qualification and hospital facilities.
• Evaluate and manage gastrointestinal bleeding and other gastroenterological emergencies.
• Diagnose and manage liver, pancreatic, and biliary diseases.
• Review and interpret relevant laboratory tests, imaging, endoscopy findings, and pathology reports.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care and manage procedure-related complications.
• Coordinate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, intensivists, and other specialists.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment options, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines.
• Participate in emergency and on-call duties as required.

Qualifications
