Job summary

Infinx Technology Solutions P Ltd in Madurai invites Life Science graduates or postgraduates to attend direct walk-in interviews for Medical Coding Trainees. Freshers are welcome; training starts with 8:30am–5:30pm, five days a week at Elcot IT Park, Vadapalanji, Madurai.

Responsibilities include identifying providers from medical documents, applying coding rules per payer/state guidelines, auditing chart counts, performing denial follow-up and appeals, receiving documents from sites, and

Qualifications

• Freshers with Life Science degree or postgraduate qualification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and listening skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and productivity.
• Capability to handle diverse clients and challenging situations.

• Understand and apply coding requirements based on payer, client, and state-specific guidelines.
• Ensure the number of charts processed matches those received from clients.
• Perform denial follow-up and appeals processing when required.
• Receive and review charge documents from various sites.
• Validate that all charge information provided is complete and accurate.
• Abstract CPT-4 and ICD-9-CM / ICD-10 codes from medical records.
• Interpret medical documentation to assign correct diagnostic and procedural codes.
