Job summary

GSK is seeking a field-based Territory Manager for Trichy, India. You will build trust with doctors and pharmacists, deliver science-based information, and execute a territory plan aligned with local patient needs.

You will collaborate with teams across the organization, continually learn, and travel within the territory. This on-site role offers coaching and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience in field sales or territory management.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the territory.
• Good verbal and written communication in English and Tamil; knowledge of other local languages is a plus.
• Basic digital skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Right to work in India.

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience in field sales, medical business, or territory management roles.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil; knowledge of other local languages spoken in and around Trichy is a plus.
• Basic digital skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Right to work in India.

Preferred Qualification

• Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare-related roles.
• Comfortable discussing clinical evidence and explaining scientific concepts to healthcare professionals.
• Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.
• Ability to use customer insight and simple data to guide your activities and priorities.
• Fluency in Tamil and other local languages spoken around Trichy.
• High motivation to learn, adapt, and take on increasing responsibility.
