• Supervising, assigning, and coordinating the work of subordinates.
• Developing work schedules, equipment use schedules, and priority of sheet-metal expenditure.
• Estimating material and labor, and monitoring the acquisition and use of materials.
• Maintaining time, payroll, work order, material, equipment, and other sheet‑metal shop records.
• Enforcing safety regulations and adhering to codes and standards.
• Ensuring budgeting guidelines are met and prioritizing expenditures to stay within budget.
• Participating in the actual work of the trade when needed.
