Job summary

Saraca Solutions is seeking a B.Tech in Mechanical for a hands-on role in our Gurugram mechanical testing lab. You will execute product and prototype testing, prepare samples, operate and maintain test equipment, and ensure adherence to SOPs, quality protocols and safety standards.

You will coordinate experiments, assist project teams with specifications, and help maintain GLP, GDP and 5S in the lab while reporting results to senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Execute product/prototype testing in mechanical testing lab as per SOP/WI and test protocols.
• Plan tests for multiple projects running simultaneously.
• Prepare specimens and samples; set up test equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Operate and maintain test equipment; perform preventive maintenance and arrange repairs as needed.
• Conduct IQ, OQ, PQ equipment qualification activities and review calibration results from external vendors.
• Record, interpret and compile data; present results to senior colleagues.
• Prepare lab work instructions / SOPs; participate in root cause investigations.
• Maintain GLP, GDP and 5S in the lab; follow strict safety procedures and checks.
• Plan experiments and coordinate trials in internal and external labs; assist project teams with specs and quality standards.

Key responsibilities-Execution of product/prototype testing in mechanical testing lab as per the laid down SOP/WI, Protocols.
Planning of tests in case of multiple projects running simultaneously.
Preparing specimens and samples.
Preparing the test equipment setup.
Understanding of the Standard Operating Procedure/Work Instruction, test Protocols/Reports.
Operate and maintain test equipment as per the requirements.
Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Perform equipment qualification activities (IQ, OQ, PQ)
Perform equipment maintenance activities in DA lab, as applicable.
Perform equipment calibration activities in DA lab, as applicable, and review calibration results provided by external vendors.
Record, interpret, analyze & compile data and sometimes interpreting results to present to senior colleagues.
Preparing the equipments work instructions / SOPs.
Participate in root cause investigation exercise.
Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.
Plan experiments and coordinate trials in internal and external labs.
Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Maintain the GLP, GDP and 5S in the lab.
Carrying out other routine tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
