Job summary

Crossing Hurdles invites a Mechanical Engineering Expert for a remote contract role. You will solve and validate complex mechanical problems, translate requirements into analytical models, and tailor geometry, meshes, materials, loads, and solver inputs for robust analyses.

You will perform structural, thermal, dynamic, and fatigue analyses, and use Python to automate model preparation, simulations, and verifications, supporting design decisions and R&D efforts.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering required.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering with strong relevant experience acceptable.
• Strong understanding of applied mechanics.
• Experience developing analytical or simulation-based engineering solutions and Python coding.

• Experience developing analytical, computational, or simulation-based engineering solutions.
• Practical proficiency with Python and coding agents.
