Job summary

Sudarshan Chemical is seeking a hands-on Maintenance professional to oversee the upkeep of process equipment across our Gujarat facility in Ankleshwar. The role focuses on reliability, preventive and predictive maintenance, and coordinating with engineering teams to drive uptime and safety compliance.

You will manage AMCs, maintain equipment history, and analyze MTBF/MTTR metrics to improve reliability while ensuring documentation and audits are up to date.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of process equipment, including MSGL, SS/MSRL reactors, pumps, dryers, conveyors, compressors, and chilling plants, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Execute and monitor preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance schedules across domains to ensure uninterrupted operations within planned budgets.
• Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for critical equipment, ensuring timely renewals and effective execution.
• Conduct and support root cause analysis (RCA) for chronic mechanical issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize breakdowns and meet turnaround-time targets for fault resolution.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and system upgrades in collaboration with engineering teams while staying updated on best practices and technologies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders and equipment history, and prepare periodic reports on performance, equipment status, and safety compliance.

Maintenance and Equipment Reliability:

• Maintenance of process equipment, including MSGL, SS/MSRL reactors, pumps, dryers, conveyors, compressors, and chilling plants, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Execute and monitor preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance schedules across domains to ensure uninterrupted operations within planned budgets.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement

• Track and analyze key maintenance metrics, such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), to improve equipment reliability.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Inventory and Spare Management:

• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of critical components, collaborate with procurement for replenishment, and develop cost-effective solutions for spare parts management.

Workplace Safety

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, participate in training, and report safety concerns promptly.

IMS Compliance

• Adhere to IMS standards, maintain documentation, and support audits and corrective actions.

ESG Commitment

• Contribute to ESG initiatives, ensure environmental compliance, and promote resource efficiency.
