Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings (GA, fabrication, assembly, and part drawings).
• Develop drawings for furnace structures, chambers, ducting, piping, platforms, frames, supports.
• Create manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and welding details.
• Modify and revise drawings as design changes occur.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Fabrication, and Purchase teams for production-ready drawings.
• Interpret concepts and sketches into detailed drawings.
• Ensure drawings follow company standards and are approved.
• Maintain drawing records and revision control.
• Collaborate with shop floor to resolve drawing queries during fabrication.

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team in Thane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings for industrial furnaces, heat-treatment equipment, and related machinery. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of mechanical fabrication and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, including General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, assembly, and part drawings as per engineering requirements.
• Develop drawings for furnace structures, chambers, ducting, piping, platforms, frames, supports, and other mechanical components.
• Create manufacturing and fabrication drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and welding details.
• Modify and revise drawings based on design changes and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Fabrication, and Purchase teams to ensure that drawings are practical and production-ready.
• Interpret engineering concepts, sketches, and specifications, converting them into detailed drawings.
• Ensure that all drawings are prepared according to company standards and approved specifications.
• Maintain proper drawing records and revision control.
• Collaborate with the shop floor to resolve any drawing-related queries during fabrication and assembly.
