Job summary

Corporate Stalwarts in India seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and refine 2D/3D mechanical designs, interfacing with German and Slovakian OEMs. The role involves preparing engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly documentation, while supporting prototyping, testing, and validation of components and assemblies.

You'll convert DIN material specifications to Indian standards, identify Indian standard profiles and materials, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of 2D/3D CAD tools.
• Understanding of engineering materials, manufacturing processes, and technical drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 2D/3D mechanical designs using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Understand and refine mechanical designs received from German and Slovakian OEMs.
• Prepare engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assembly documentation.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Convert DIN material specifications to equivalent Indian standards, wherever applicable.
• Identify suitable Indian standard profiles and locally available materials.
