Job summary

Coreel Technologies in Bengaluru invites a mechanical design engineer with 4+ years experience designing air-cooled and conduction-cooled electromechanical enclosures and chassis for defense, avionics and telecom sectors. Expertise in 19-inch racks, milled, sheet metal and plastic enclosures.

The role requires independent design, interaction with customers and project teams, and designing for DFM. You will lead a 2-member team and contribute to BOM, material and fastener selection, CNC processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in designing Air cooled and conduction cooled electromechanical Enclosures and Chassis for defense/Avionics/Telecom industry.
• Experience in milled, sheet metal and plastic enclosure designs.
• Knowledge in 19-inch rack, ATR, VPX, VME and ATCA standards.
• 3-year experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD tools
• Knowledge of Structural and Thermal analysis.
• Ability to manage 2-member team
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge about BOM creation, material selection, Fastener selection, CNC machining and surface finish process.
• Vendor development activities
