The role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 0-2 years of experience in mechanical CAD design. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed 2D/3D models and engineering drawings using Creo, or similar CAD tools, supporting global product development and design engineering teams.We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills and a foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering, who are eager to learn, collaborate, and grow.**Essential Duties / Principal Responsibilities:*** Create and update 3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies, and BOMs using Creo.* Design mechanical components and water-related systems (e.g., pumps, submersible mixers, valves, piping).* Perform basic mechanical calculations* Collaborate with global teams to meet design requirements and deadlines.* Ensure compliance with engineering standards, GD&T, and documentation protocols.* Manage drawing revisions and engineering changes via Windchill* Participate in design reviews and suggest cost-effective improvements.**Must Have Competencies:*** Experience Level: 0–2 years of relevant CAD design experience.* Proficiency in Creo is highly preferred.* Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes like casting, sheet metal fabrication, plastic, rubber and mechanical drafting standards.* Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills with effective communication in English is a must.**Good to Have Competencies:*** Hands-on experience or academic project exposure in product design and process development.* Practical working knowledge of Creo (Parametric) for 3D modelling and design.* Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and GA drawings.* Basic understanding of water-related systems, including pumps, submersible mixers, valves, and piping networks.* Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, along with application-level knowledge.* Knowledge of gearbox design and engineering calculations.* Awareness of AI automation tools and proficiency in leveraging AI for engineering tasks and process optimization.* Proficiency in Data tools like Python and Power BI is an added advantage.**Qualifications:*** B.Tech./ BE in Mechanical engineering or Higher.Werden Sie Teil des globalen Xylem-Teams und gestalten Sie innovative Technologielösungen mit, die die Nutzung, Verfügbarkeit, den Schutz und die nachhaltige Verwendung von Wasser sicherstellen.
