Job summary

HCLTech in Bangalore Jigani is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 2.5–5 years of hands-on experience. You will design components with stamping, molding and machining, using Creo and SolidWorks, and create 3D models, sheets and assemblies.

Proficiency in Windchill PDM/PLM and GD&T is essential, with knowledge of DFMEA, DFM/DFA concepts, and NP I/NPD processes. Exposure to UG NX is a plus; immediate to 30 days notice period required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical engineering.
• 2.5–5 years experience in mechanical design.
• Design experience with stamping, molding and machining.

Requirements In Detail:

• Experience in design of components with various manufacturing processes like Stamping, Molding & Machining.
• Proficient in Creo & SolidWorks CAD software (Creating 3D models, Sheet Metal, 2D drawing and Assembly)
• Hands on experience in Windchill PDM / PLM for managing lifecycle of the components.
• Experience in Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge in Tolerance stack up analysis.
• Strong knowledge in manufacturability considerations for Sheetmetal & Plastic
• Knowledge on DFMEA and identify relevant product risks.
• Identifying the suitable material, apply DFM/DFA concepts in design and familiar with latest engineering design and methods, tools, and processes.
• Experience with standard NPI / NPD process. Understanding of compliance requirements.
