Job summary

Planys Technologies in Chennai invites a Mechanical Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our Research & Development team. You will work on 3D modeling, structural analysis, simulation-based feasibility, rapid prototyping, and testing of rugged underwater and robotic systems.

Prepare designs with SolidWorks or Creo, support product design cycles, and contribute to Sealing design of ROV systems for underwater deployment. BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D modeling (SolidWorks) and structural analysis.
• Requirement analysis and feasibility based on simulation and testing.
• Hands-on rapid prototyping and testing to ensure design viability.

Responsibilities

• Experience in 3D Modeling (Solid Works) & Structural analysis Engineering.
• Carry out requirement analysis and feasibility of designs based on simulation (analytical and numerical), rapid prototyping, FMEA and testing.
• Engineering Design & Analysis - Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities.
• Rapid Prototyping (Hands on manufacturing experience)
• Product design cycle -Work towards the design improvements of existing products based on customer feedback
• Sealing design - Mechanical engineering design of ROV systems, which are deployed under water.
