Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to design wiring harnesses using NX Electrical Routing and to prepare related drawings and BOMs. You will ensure EMC considerations are integrated and coordinate with tooling suppliers across projects.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience in wiring harness design, strong GD&T skills, and proficiency with UG-NX, Teamcenter, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• BE-Mechanical degree required.
• 7–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering or wiring harness design.
• Experience with NX Electrical Routing and harness documentation.
• Knowledge of UG-NX, Teamcenter, and AutoCAD is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop wiring harness 3D routing using Siemens NX Electrical Routing module as per packaging and design requirements.
• Prepare 2D flattening drawings of wiring harnesses including wire lengths, bundle diameters, and branch details.
• Define and manage connectors, clips, clamps, protective coverings in NX library.
• Generate and maintain BOM, wiring tables, and harness documentation for manufacturing and validation.
• Assess electrical characteristics and influences on EMC owing to wiring harness design.
• Coordinate with tooling suppliers from end to end.
