Job summary

Mott MacDonald India, Bengaluru-based, is seeking a Diploma holder in Mechanical/Refrigeration & AC with 3+ years of HVAC drafting and design experience to join the Building Services team. You will work on building services drawings, ducting and piping layouts, and clash coordination using MicroStation, REVIT, Navisworks, and related tools, contributing to high-quality project delivery.

This permanent, full-time role offers opportunities within GDSC to collaborate across disciplines and deliver

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Refrigeration & AC or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in drafting HVAC systems, ducting and piping design.
• Experience with MicroStation/OpenBuildings, REVIT, BIM 360, NavisWorks, Revizto; Dynamo preferred.

Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) is a high-impact business unit within Mott MacDonald, dedicated to enhancing project delivery across our global operations.

As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types including commercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. Under this sector, our services span the whole asset cycle from advisory to consulting, through design and delivery, to asset management. With deep understanding of all phases of the building lifecycle, it enables us to give our clients the best-informed engineering and innovative solutions.

Key Deliverables

• Model building and drawings of building services elements.
• Basic design calculations.
• Duct & pipe sizing.
• MEP Clash coordination
• Knowledge of LODs & BSRIA standards.
• Quantities take off based design drawings.
• Carrying out checking of drawings.
• Coordination between other MEP disciplines, such as Electrical, Plumbing services.
• Work within time limits to complete deliverables on time

Candidate Specification

• Be a Diploma holder in Mechanical/Refrigeration and AC or equivalent in respective engineering discipline.
• Should have 3+ years of experience in drafting of HVAC systems, ducting and piping design, plant room layout, Schematics, sections etc.
• Have good experience in relevant design software such as MicroStation/Open building design, REVIT, BIM 360, NavisWorks, Revizto, Knowledge in Dynamo is preferred.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards work, be a team player and have multi-disciplinary co-ordination skills
