Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a skilled MEP BIM modeller to join the Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) in India. The role focuses on creating and updating detailed MEP models using Revit, generating drawings and BOQs, and ensuring model integrity.

You will collaborate across disciplines to support project delivery from concept to completion. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in MEP BIM with Revit, Dynamo, and Navisworks experience, plus knowledge of ISO 19650 and related BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Should have at least 5 years of experience in MEP BIM modelling using Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360/ACC.
• Good understanding of Dynamo and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed MEP models using Revit per project requirements.
• Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and BOQs from Revit models.
• Collaborate with design teams to incorporate inputs into coordinated BIM models.
• Participate in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or ACC Model Coordination.
• Ensure models comply with BEP and project standards.
• Maintain model integrity by managing parameters, families, and templates.
• Assist in setup and maintenance of Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as ACC.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings, schematics, and as-built models.
• Perform regular model health checks and contribute to QA/QC processes.
• Coordinate with Architecture and Structure for integrated design delivery.

As part of GDSC in India, you will be working alongside Mott MacDonald international colleagues delivering ambitious projects across a broad range of building types including commercial, residential, retail and offices, education, healthcare, airports, data center, hotels, sports and events venues, and Metro & stations. • Create and update detailedMEP models(Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) usingAutodesk Revitin accordance with project requirements.
• Generate2D drawings,schedules, andBOQsfrom Revit models.
• Collaborate with design teams to incorporate engineering inputs into coordinated BIM models.
• Has to be well versed with Dynamo & should have taken Automation initiatives
• Participate inclash detectionand coordination processes using tools likeNavisworksorACC Model Coordination.
• Ensure models comply withBIM Execution Plans (BEP)and project-specific standards.
• Maintain model integrity by managing parameters, families, and templates.
• Support the setup and maintenance ofCommon Data Environments (CDEs)such asAutodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Assist in preparingshop drawings,schematics, andas-built models.
• Perform regularmodel health checksand contribute to QA/QC processes.

Candidate Specification

Professional Experience :

• Should have at least 5 years of experience inMEP BIM modellingusingAutodesk Revit

Essential Skills & Software :

• Proficiency inRevit, AutoCAD,Navisworks, andBIM 360/ACC.
• Good understanding and hands on Dynamo and Automation experience
• Understanding ofMEP systemsincluding HVAC, lighting, power, drainage, and water supply.
• Familiarity withBIM standardssuch asISO 19650,BS 1192, andASHRAE/SMACNAguidelines.
• Ability to read and interpretengineering drawings,schematics, andspecifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to model accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
