Job summary

TeizoSoft Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a hands-on MCAD Engineer with SolidWorks and Creo to support New Product Development and New Product Introduction projects. You will independently own 3D modelling, assemblies, and detailed drawings for plastic and sheet-metal components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive designs from concept to release.

• 4+ years of hands-on Mechanical CAD/MCAD design experience.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Creo/Pro-E.
• Experience in 3D part modelling for plastic and sheet-metal components.
• Ability to create complex assemblies and detailed 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience on NPD/NPI projects and engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models of plastic and sheet-metal components using SolidWorks.

Job description

We are looking for a strong MCAD Engineer with hands‑on expertise in SolidWorks and working knowledge of Creo to support New Product Development (NPD) / New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.

The ideal candidate should have excellent 3D modelling and detailing skills, particularly for plastic and sheet-metal components, and be capable of working independently with cross‑functional Engineering teams to drive design deliverables from concept through release.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models of plastic and sheet-metal components using SolidWorks.


• Create and manage complex assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and component structures.


• Prepare accurate 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, material specifications, and manufacturing details.


• Support NPD/NPI projects from design development through engineering release.


• Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross‑functional teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.


• Interpret engineering requirements, specifications, concepts, and design inputs and convert them into production‑ready designs.


• Perform design modifications, engineering changes, and optimization based on reviews, testing, and manufacturing feedback.


• Ensure designs meet DFM/DFA, manufacturability, assembly, quality, and functional requirements.


• Participate in design reviews and independently drive assigned mechanical design activities.


• Maintain proper CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.


• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and support resolution of design and manufacturing issues.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 4+ years of hands‑on Mechanical CAD / MCAD design experience.


• Very strong proficiency in SolidWorks mandatory.


• Working knowledge of Creo / Pro‑E.

• Ability to review designs for manufacturability and assembly feasibility.


• Exposure to product development lifecycle and engineering release processes.
