Responsibilities

About the Role

Adyaha Ways Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands‑on experience in SolidWorks and/or CATIA to support our engineering, R&D and product development activities.

The selected candidate will be involved in 3D modelling, engineering drawings, mechanical component design, assemblies, mechanisms, prototyping and design development for industrial, aerospace, defence and other precision engineering applications.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to support our ongoing and upcoming Design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D models and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and/or CATIA.
• Prepare manufacturing and engineering drawings with appropriate dimensions and tolerances.
• Develop mechanical components, housings, shafts, gears, brackets, fixtures and mechanisms.
• Perform design modifications based on engineering requirements and test results.
• Support prototype development and manufacturing activities.
• Coordinate with machining and fabrication vendors for design clarification.
• Review drawings and models for manufacturability and assembly requirements.
• Support engineering calculations, design documentation and technical reports.
• Participate in testing, validation and design improvement activities.
• Maintain proper revision control of CAD models and engineering drawings.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency:

• Good working knowledge of SolidWorks and/or CATIA.
• 3D part modelling and assembly modelling.
• 2D engineering drawings.
• GD&T and basic tolerance understanding.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication and sheet‑metal work.
• Understanding of engineering materials and mechanical components.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good engineering fundamentals and problem-solving ability.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering /Aeronautical /Aerospace or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Cad Modelling domain
• Fresh graduates with strong CAD skills and good mechanical engineering fundamentals are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with mechanism and machine design.
• Gear and shaft design knowledge.
• Sheet-metal and weldment design.
• Basic knowledge of FEA/CAE.
• Experience with prototype development.
