Job summary

Alten in Bengaluru seeks an experienced automotive embedded software engineer to contribute to requirement analysis and SW development using Matlab/Simulink. You will design and develop AUTOSAR-based models (Simulink, TargetLink) following MAAB guidelines and ensure code quality.

You will validate models MIL/SIL with TPT, support test development, code coverage, and model quality, applying fixed-point algorithms and robust software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 2–6 yrs experience in automotive embedded software development and validation
• Model-based development and auto-code generation using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow and TargetLink with MAAB guidelines and MXAM quality
• Experience in fixed point algorithm development
• Good understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and related tools

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design and development of AUTOSAR based Simulink, TargetLink models (fixed point algorithm) as per the MAAB guidelines with good software engineering practices.
• Responsible for Model Validation (MIL, SIL with TPT) and Test development, Code Coverage and Model Quality.

M-Scripting Skills Required

• 2-6 yrs. experience in automotive embedded software development and validation activities with background in control systems
• Demonstrated skills in model based development and auto-code generation using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow and TargetLink with adherence to modeling guidelines (MAAB) and quality (MXAM)
• Experience in fixed point algorithm development
• Good understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and related tools
