Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling in Pune, India seeks a Materials Planning Associate to ensure on-time delivery of direct materials to manufacturing plants. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive schedule adherence.

The role requires supply chain experience and strong communication, with SAP MM knowledge preferred. This is a permanent, full-time position based at HY India Pune, offering opportunities to contribute to process improvements and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Supply chain experience: 3–9 years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong ability to work independently.
• SAP MM knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers for on-time delivery of direct material to manufacturing plants.
• Address/elevate to supplier leadership any discrepancies with delivery schedules.
• Manage PAP changes.
• Proactive planning—inform/update production management on late deliveries.
• Order changes (Move Ins/Outs, Cancellations).
• New products introductions (Phase In/Out).
• Participate in internal and external process improvement projects.
• Deliver weekly/monthly cadence metric reports.
• Prepare presentations and attend meetings as required.
• Provide performance summaries to management as requested/required.
• Active participation in cross-functional projects.
• Formulate corrective actions concerning missed KPIs.
