Job summary

Mace is seeking a Materials Manager for a high-rise residential project in Noida, India. You will develop and implement materials management strategies, forecast requirements, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely availability.

The role requires experience on major construction projects, a degree in Engineering or related discipline, and proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. On-site work and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

The Project

This is a high-rise residential project in Noida.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Developing and implementing effective materials management strategies to support project delivery and operational objectives.
• Planning, forecasting, and coordinating material requirements with project, engineering, commercial, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability.
• Managing material receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution activities across site operations.
• Monitoring material usage, stock levels, and performance metrics, driving efficiency, cost optimisation, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics partners to ensure reliable material supply and delivery.
• Leading materials management and warehouse teams while ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

You’ll Need To Have

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
• Professional qualification in Materials Management, Procurement, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Proven experience managing materials on major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent materials management platforms.
