Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) is seeking a capable engineer to manage automotive material compliance, IMDS submissions, and related data upkeep.

You will work with REACH/SCIP/ELV directives, perform MDS tree creation, BOM analysis, and liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure data accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required (full-time).
• Experience in automotive material compliance and IMDS.
• Strong knowledge of REACH, SCIP, ELV directives.
• Proficient with MDS tree creation and BOM analysis.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; good communication.

Mansioni

• Handle IMDS submissions and data validation.
• Perform MDS tree creation and data sheet revisions.
• Ensure ELV compliance and SoC knowledge; BOM analysis.
• Communicate with suppliers and onsite customers; maintain documentation.

Qualification: B.E - Any Discipline - (Full Time), B.E in Chemical/ Metallurgy, preferred

Skill set: Material Compliance (IMDS)

Good knowledge in following:

• a. IMDS,
• b. REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals),
• c. SCIP (Substances of concern in products),
• d. RRR (Reusability, Recyclability, Recoverability) Calculation.
• e. Responsible Material Sourcing and GADSL (Global Automotive Declarable Substance List).

Excellent Microsoft excel PowerPoint skills

Good Experience in Automotive Material Compliance International Material Data System (IMDS). MDS Tree Creation, revising datasheets, Updating, Quality Check, Submission according to Industry Standards. Perform initial quality checks to ensure created MDS meets Compliance requirement ELV requirements. Complete knowledge of End-of-Life Vehicles Directives its amendments. Should be an expert in materials and their chemical compositions, Substance of Concern (SoC), ELV RRR calculation, IMDS recommendations and BOM analysis. Interaction with suppliers and onsite customers. Good communication skills (speak write).
