Job summary

Schaeffler, a global technology company, is seeking a strategic Material Planner + Advance SCM to lead system development and supply chain initiatives. You will ensure materials are available on time, in the right quantity and at the right cost to support production and distribution.

Key responsibilities include demand forecasting, material planning, inventory control, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with procurement, production and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in forecasting and planning materials for production.
• Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external partners.
• Familiarity with Power BI and analytics tools for reporting.
• Ability to collaborate across procurement, production and logistics teams.

Responsibilities

General information

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven material planner + Advance SCM to spearhead system development and supply chain initiatives. Material Planner is a key role in supply chain and manufacturing operations. Their main responsibility is to ensure that materials required for production or distribution are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Forecasting demand based on sales projections and historical data.
• Planning and scheduling the delivery of materials.
• Inventory management to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
• Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitoring material usage and adjusting orders accordingly.
• Collaborating with procurement, production, and logistics teams.

Your Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience
• BE / Graduate (any); Additional certification (Specialization)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Good understanding of supply chain operation,
• Ability to work on Analytics tools including Power BI
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and material management programs
• Creative bend of mind, able to work in teams, and considers collaboration as a strength
