Job summary

Bosch Rexroth India is seeking a Senior Material Planner to lead Shared Material Planning and LOG Supplier Management from Ahmedabad. You will set up long-term material plans aligned with market demand and capacity, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure material readiness and capacity reservation.

You will drive KPI targets, manage supplier delivery performance, and handle material projects to optimize the supply chain. Strong SAP/MM experience and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Team leading skills and minimum 5 years of team leading experience.
• Bachelor degree, Major in Mechanical, Trading or Logistic preferred.
• Profound knowledge and experience in MRP II/SAP, MM. lean logistic, Pull System (incl. Kanban and Supermarket)
• Familiar with MS OFFICE, good PC skills and SAP material planning
• Logical and CIP thinking
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Open personality, team spirit and active communication skills
• Honest, responsible, able to work under pressure
• Problem analytical and solving
• Relevant working experience incl. production or project management preferred
• German language skills would be an advantage, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing operative team of Shared Material Planning and LOG Supplier Mgt. at Ahmedabad.
• Set up/optimize long term material plan according to market FC/consumption/capacity, negotiate with suppliers to ensure material preparation and capacity reservation.
• Escalation management (second level) in case of supplier delivery issues.
• Responsible for KPIs and targets defined by DC-MH Central Logistics.
• Responsible for related material projects to optimize supply chain and improve supplier delivery performance.
• Supplier management and annual logistics agreements including consignment stock, SA, LT, EDI, TLV, supplier evaluation.
