Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Master Data Analyst to own the integrity and lifecycle of IT assets across SAP MDG, S/4HANA, and Hybris environments worldwide.

You will create and govern master item data records, manage storefront catalog entries, enforce delivery policies, and ensure data quality across ERP and ticketing tools. This role requires 5–7 years in MDM/ALM or enterprise IT catalog administration and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in Master Data Management (MDM), Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM), supply chain ops, or enterprise IT catalogue administration.
• Hands-on experience in SAP ecosystems (MDG, Fiori, Hybris Backoffice, S/4HANA).
• Proficiency with enterprise ticketing and workflow platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent).
• High attention to detail across data cleansing, bulk data migration, CSV handling, deduplication, and schema validation.

Responsibilities

• Create and govern master item data records for ITAM, AV, and Workplace Services using SAP MDG and Fiori workflows.
• Configure, update, and publish hardware, software, mobile devices, and bundled service plans in the internal storefront; manage catalogue syncing and pricing tiers.
• Build and maintain user visibility and delivery restriction policies in storefront controls.
• Execute single and bulk updates for asset attributes (MAC addresses, serial numbers, project codes, location data) via ERP tooling.
• Monitor, triage, and route technical lifecycle requests across enterprise ticketing platforms; escalate backend issues.
• Coordinate with Channel Management, Mobility Operations, Software Operations, and Inventory Specialists for governance and compliance.

Job description

Role Overview The Master Data Analyst is responsible for the integrity, lifecycle tracking, and global administration of enterprise hardware, accessories, software, and mobile service assets across core systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, SAP Hybris). This role executes master data creation (master item data records, manufacturer part numbers, project IDs), maintains storefront catalogue entries and delivery policy restrictions, and resolves data discrepancies across enterprise ticketing queues to ensure seamless ordering and asset tracking for internal users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Master Data Creation & Maintenance (SAP MDG / SAP S/4HANA): Create and govern master item data records (MIDs) for IT Asset Management (ITAM), Audio/Visual (AV), and Workplace Services (real estate and facilities). Establish and maintain base MIDs and regional variant MIDs, manufacturer IDs, and project IDs using SAP MDG and Fiori workflows.
• Storefront & Catalogue Administration (SAP Hybris): Configure, update, and publish hardware, software, mobile devices, and bundled service plans within the internal ordering storefront. Manage staged-to-online catalogue synchronisation, pricing tiers, multimedia assets, supercategories, and rich-text technical specifications.
• Policy & Delivery Governance: Build and maintain user visibility and delivery restriction policies in the storefront control console, based on platform, form factor, hardware track, and regional constraints. Ensure global availability flags and compliance configurations are accurately mapped.
• Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) & Data Integrity: Execute single and bulk updates for critical asset attributes (MAC addresses, serial numbers, project codes, location data) via the ERP asset management tooling and the standard mass-update transaction. Reassign manufacturer part numbers (MPNs) and manage asset migrations between source and target MIDs.
• Ticket Queue Management & Triage: Monitor, resolve, and route technical lifecycle requests and user feedback across enterprise ticketing platforms. Escalate complex backend mapping issues, data-fix exceptions, and question groups to engineering and Tier-3 backend support.
• Cross-Functional Governance & Compliance: Coordinate with Channel Management, Mobility Operations, Software Operations, and Inventory Specialists. Ensure compliance with naming conventions, approval hierarchies, and standardised intake workflows, and obtain sign-off from the designated data owner where required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 5–7 years in Master Data Management (MDM), Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM), supply chain operations, or enterprise IT catalogue administration.
• Core Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience in SAP ecosystems (SAP MDG, SAP Fiori, SAP Hybris Backoffice, SAP S/4HANA).
• Ticketing & Workflow Tools: Proficiency with enterprise ticketing and workflow platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent).
• Data Management: High attention to detail across data cleansing, bulk data migration, CSV handling, deduplication, and schema validation.
• Process Governance: Familiarity with hardware classification (tiering, base vs. variant SKUs, MPN mapping, UPCs, BYOD and managed service provider asset workflows).
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong written communication to coordinate technical verifications, track parent/child tickets, and secure stakeholder approvals across cross-functional teams.
